Terms of Service

Availia operates an online marketplace ("Platform") that connects beauty professionals ("Renters") with owners of salon chairs, treatment rooms, studios and other workspaces ("Owners"). Availia is not a party to any booking agreement between Renters and Owners.

You must be at least 18 years old and provide accurate information to create an account. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure.

Renters may request to book listed spaces. Owners may accept or decline. On acceptance, payment is captured and a booking contract forms directly between Renter and Owner, subject to these Terms.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Availia charges a service fee (currently 5%) on each accepted booking. Owner payouts are made via Stripe Connect on the schedule set within Stripe. Taxes are the responsibility of each party.

Cancellation terms are set by the Owner and shown on each listing. Availia may issue refunds in accordance with those terms and our policies. Chargebacks and disputes are handled through Stripe.

You agree not to misuse the Platform, including by posting unlawful content, harassing other users, misrepresenting a listing, or attempting to bypass Availia fees.

You retain ownership of the content you upload but grant Availia a worldwide, non-exclusive licence to host, display and promote it in connection with the Platform.

The Platform is provided on an "as is" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Availia is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for the acts or omissions of Renters or Owners.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms. You may close your account at any time; obligations relating to past bookings survive termination.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
